About Us

I have been working in the field of flower essences for over 30 years now. I trained with my step-father, Arthur Bailey and I feel steeped in knowledge and love for the Bailey Flower Essences.

I have been interested in the five elements for many years - it was some time in the 90s when they first came into my awareness. For the past three years I have been writing a monthly newsletter through the Bailey Essences business. This has quite literally changed my life as living with the five elements has become the way that we live in our family.

Choosing to live with the elements and the season, using flower essences as a support helps me to lead a more empowered life and I feel very grateful for the knowledge.

Since I was a small girl, I have been drawing little doodles in the margin of my work. In recent adulthood I realised that these little doodles were all the symbols found in mandalas! I've discovered an absorbing interest that is taking me on an exploration through culture, nature and geometry.

I am married to Stephen and we have two wonderful boys who we homeschool in the mountain town of Nelson in British Columbia.

I qualified as an acupuncturist from the York College of Acupuncture in the late 1990s and have been practising full-time since then. When I lived in England I enjoyed teaching at the York College for several years.

I helped Arthur Bailey with the creation of the Five Elements Set and I have found them to be a valuable addition to my practice.

Using the control and creation cycle with flower essences is a valuable and enlightening way to work with people and one that continues to fascinate me.

I have furthered my studies over the years, and co-created a workshop series using five elements and EFT with Gwyneth Moss as well as providing editing backup to Becca with her five element newsletters each month.
